hi team,
im still having the same issue as its not updating views/downloads in "real time"
id appreciate a response to clear this up once and for all

thanks to kuroimisa for his reply but seems like my question is being ignored by the rest of MT
all i need is a confirmation if our stats (view/downloads) only get updated if they are commented on or +faved and maybe have it setup again like with the older versions of MT or Animepaper or deviant art where everything is in "real time" and updates after each view/download or comment

Don't know if this has been brought up before ( i have checked for previous threads but no luck) but i want to query about how often our View/Downloads get updated.

Correct me if i am wrong but i am noticing the only time our Views/Downloads are updated is only when someone comments or +favs our work.....is this the case?

Is this to reduce bandwidth on the site?
Because if i remember on previous versions of MT all Views/downloads of our work were updated "Real time"

Not trying to cause any trouble but (personally) would be nice to know how many people have been viewing our work and not having to wait until someone +favs or comments before it is updated

i.e......was checking my work and for one piece i had the following:
Views/Downloads:
690/140
Comments/Favorites:
4/34

then 6 days later when someone +faved this piece it updated the following

Views/Downloads:
887/195
Comments/Favorites:
4/35

what i am trying to get at is if someone does not comment or +fav our work then the Views/Downloads do not get updated and it could be 6 months later when someone comments or +favs before our Views/Downloads are updated.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention.As stated i have checked for previous threads on this topic but could not find any so i apologize in advance if it has already been addressed.

i know BotChii is an automated robot but twice it has deleted a vector i have put up in the past week and a half (just to let you know BotChii is crossed out...doesnt that mean that its invalid?...correct me if im wrong)
i dont think there is anything wrong with the vector as ive uploaded it on AP as well

just want to query about the Artistic level number on everyones userpage.

Basically this scenario has happened to me twice in the last 2 months.I just would like to know if it is actually meant to fluctuate or not

Above are my stats in regards to the wallpaper section.As you can see my artistic level is at 34 , BUT till 3 days ago it was at 35.Now i would like to know is this Artistic level meant fluctuate in values as they same thing happened to me a month ago as well.

if it is meant to fluctuate is that in regards to how many members look at our individual wallpapers

Also my participation level is on 18 and it has never fluctuated at all

the only score to fluctuate is my Artistic Level

not causing a fuss would just like to know if it is meant to go up or down

if i want to put a small thumbnail of my current wallie in my signature text (so people can view it) what is the exact code/link/url you need to put so when u click on the thumnail it directs u to a full version of the wallpaper

ive checked the FAQ but cannot seem to find it
if someone can help me out and send me the link to it on FAQ id appreciate it

after using both credit and level system i like the crdit system more
why u ask?

wellwhen u submit a wallpaper or create a thread the more 'hits' u get on it the higher your credits go up
so if your credits go up quite a bit from a wallie (for example) in a short amount of time then that tells you that people enjoy your work .

simple really

as Spystreak has said the Mods/admin have decided the level system is gone
no point in making a fuss people as its not coming back
get used to the credit system...its not as bad as it seems

i just had 3 wallpapers deleted last night , one that i uploaded last night and 2 existing pieces that have been up for awhile

i understand about the space and running things on here but when u have had your work up for at least a couple of months with alot of hits and comments and then to get a message stating it was deleted by a BOT(chii) and that it is AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE then it leaves u to wonder why its been removed for .Why not remove it when it was first uploaded instead of it being up for a long duration and then bam getting it deleted

i understand both sides of the argument and im not taking sides at all ....but it would be nice to know why its being deleted

no offense to anyone but a bit more clarification about why it was deleted would be helpful in letting people know so they can improve on their imperfections:)

i luv this site as alot of people give u positive and negative feedback AND most importantly give u advise on how to improve future wallpapers

its a combination of the answers above but i also think he does not want to show his feelings with facial expressions at it might make him feel more vulnerable when fighting against his enemies

as mentioned above Elfin Lied , Trinity Blood and Basilisk are good series if your after "dark" anime

another series that i found interesting was Wolfs Rain and Gungrave
